SOFTWARE ENGINEER · SULAYMANIYAH, IRAQ

I build software
from the first click
to the database.

I’m Mohammed, founder at Evolvm. I connect dependable backend systems to thoughtful interfaces—and take the product all the way through launch.

B.S. Software Engineering

American University of Iraq–Sulaimani · Minor in Business Management

Building the technical foundation alongside shipped work and real product responsibility.

03 END-TO-END BY DEFAULT

Good software is
a connected system.

I work across the boundaries where products often come apart: the contract between client and API, the moment data changes, and the path from a finished feature to a dependable service.

01 / CAPABILITY{ }

Backend that holds up.

APIs, data models, queues and integrations designed around correctness, useful failure modes and the people who will run them.

Node.js · Go · PostgreSQL · Redis
02 / CAPABILITY▱

Interfaces that make sense.

Responsive product UI that turns complicated systems into clear workflows, with the keyboard, small screens and edge cases in mind.

React · Next.js · TypeScript · Expo
03 / CAPABILITY↗

The last mile, too.

Security, billing, observability, deployment and handoff. A feature is not finished when it works once on my machine.

Docker · AWS · CI/CD · Operations

04 THE TOOLBOX

Choose the tool
for the system.

I move across the stack with one goal: make each layer serve the product and remain understandable to the next person who works on it.

01 / BUILD

Backend

Go · Java · Node.js · Express · PHP · REST APIs · Authentication · RBAC

02 / MODEL

Data

PostgreSQL · MySQL · Redis · Data modelling · Audit trails · Query design

03 / EXPERIENCE

Frontend

TypeScript · JavaScript · React · Next.js · HTML · CSS · Expo · Android

04 / OPERATE

Delivery

Linux · Nginx · Docker · GitHub Actions · AWS S3 / SES · n8n · CI/CD

05 SELECTED WORK

Different problems.
Whole products.

Real systems, real constraints, and the engineering choices underneath the interface. Open each project for the decisions and architecture.

01 / Medical education · Production platformSystems

Meducate

A learning platform built to trust its own records.

Architected and delivered the production backend for an AI-powered medical education platform, alongside its admin and student experiences.

Designed role-based access, JWT and Argon2 authentication, OTP verification, and a tamper-evident audit trail shared across the API. Background jobs handle scoring, leaderboards and cleanup; presigned uploads bind storage permissions to each file's content type. Layered CORS, rate limits and payload caps defend the API at its boundaries.

Are We Up?

A monitoring engine that knows when to wake up.

Built a full uptime-monitoring product: scheduled checks, incident lifecycles, alert delivery, status pages, and the workspace around them.

Explore the engineering +

The check engine is driven by database state. One dispatcher claims due monitors and queues short, one-shot jobs. Each result and incident transition is written transactionally; alerts begin after commit. A Redis wake signal makes new monitors run immediately.

03 / AI platform · Web, Android & CLIProducts

NoaAI

One assistant. Three clients. One cost-aware core.

A private AI assistant spanning a web app, Android client, and terminal tool, backed by a shared API and consistent conversation model.

Explore the engineering +

Chat streams newline-delimited events. Before a provider call, the server reserves the request budget; PostgreSQL serializes per-owner reservations so concurrent requests cannot quietly overspend. Safe mock mode makes client work deterministic without API keys or paid calls.

AUIS Exam Planner

A timetable is a constraint system in disguise.

An exam scheduling platform built during a year-long internship with the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani registration office.

Explore the engineering +

The planner helps staff manage a complicated exam calendar, avoid timetable conflicts, and prevent students from facing three final exams in a single day. The interface makes a dense operational problem easier to inspect and act on.

05 / SEO tooling · Browser extension & SaaSProducts

RankLens

Useful diagnostics, right where the page lives.

A privacy-first SEO audit extension paired with a report dashboard for site owners who want evidence, priorities, and a clear next fix.

Explore the engineering +

The extension runs 26 checks locally across indexing, content, links, images, structured data, social previews, and performance. Findings carry page evidence and transparent score impact; the dashboard adds authenticated report history and opt-in shareable scorecards.

06 HOW I WORK

Careful where
it matters.
Fast where it helps.

Clear thinking is not ceremony. It is how I avoid building the wrong thing beautifully.

Talk through a problem
01

Make the hard part visible

Find the real constraint before adding another layer. Write down the system, the trade-offs and what success should look like.

02

Ship the whole vertical slice

Connect the data, API, interface and production path early. Working software teaches more than a polished diagram.

03

Leave the system easier to own

Build clear seams, readable decisions and safe defaults so the next change is straightforward.
